Africa

Birds from Africa started arriving in London in early October - thank you to all those who have sent them!

Starting at the Equator in Uganda, the Flock began its journey north in September.  Started by Beatrice Labogi in Gulu, northern Uganda, the flock has also been joined by birds from Morocco and others from Spain.  They will be trickling northwards over future weeks to reach their final destination, the Hebrides, in November.

If you are in Africa (or anywhere else) and would like to add a bird to the Flock, please see the 'How to Take Part' page.  Your bird will join the many others, and end up in the Outer Hebrides, off the north-west coast of Scotland.
