Sunday 9th October 11-4pm
Birds of Burgess Park

A drop-in workshop funded by Walworth Community Fund working in partnership with Friends of Burgess Park.  Free entry - all welcome

Burgess Park is full of birds, including water-birds on the lake, and a bronze circle of birds made by AiP with Cobourg School!  The workshop will use these birds as a starting point for art activities based on birds as part of the Flock project:

Use a painting machine to make a bird to add to the Flock and post it north (and keep one for yourself too)

Make a pot on the potter's wheel and a bird-shaped motif to stamp a design on it

Yes this is a painting machine
Art in the Park's regular Monday Elders group will also take part in Flock by creating their own bird cards to post north.

Art in the Park is in Chumleigh Gardens, Burgess Park, Camberwell SE5 ORJ.  Click here for a map and more contact info.
